Dear EO’ers,
As you all are aware
that thousands of people have been affected by dengue virus in Lahore / Punjab
and large number of deaths have been claimed by this deadly virus. Now symptoms
of dengue fever are also being felt in Karachi. In order to reduce the habitat
and number of mosquitoes and limiting exposure to bites it is proposed to
launch anti dengue drive in Karachi for its prevention and control. The
campaign will be launched in whole Karachi; especially in less developed and
neglected localities where it is feared that outbreak of dengue virus is more
likely.
To launch anti-dengue
campaign, we need at least six fogging machines and anti-mosquito spray. Each
fogging machine would cost around Rs.135,000/-, besides cost of the spray.
To achieve the objective
we need appropriate funds and speedy measures.
In this regard Diamond Foam Unit at Karachi voluntarily offers its
vehicles for spray in the city.Every member of our organization ,personally
visit and monitor those areas where our organization sent fogging machines for
spray.
